William “Willy” Wagner was the inspiration and
stepping stone for the future of Wagner Auction Service. In
the 1970’s, “Willy” conducted many WHITE ELEPHANT and
Consignment Sales, which benefited churches and the community.
From those early years, his youngest son, Dennis, caught the
auction fever.
Dennis F. Wagner began
his journey in the auction industry by completing a
one year apprenticeship. He then attended the PA
School of Auctioneering in Harrisburg. Dennis
successfully completed the course and received his PA
State License in 1977. While holding a full time job,
he pursued his dream by conducting auctions in the
evenings and on the weekends. His favorable
reputation lead the way for him to become a full time
auctioneer in 1980. |
Tracy L. Wagner had a desire to
become an auctioneer and carry on the family tradition from a
very young age. She began her two year apprenticeship under
her father in 1991 and received her PA State License in 1993.
Today, she holds a full time job in the dental industry and
enjoys being a third generation auctioneer.
Beverly Wagner is the wife of Dennis and the mother of
Tracy and Denise. She oversees the daily operations of the
business, including the bookkeeping, payroll, advertising and
set-up of the auctions.
Denise Wagner holds a B.S.
degree in Marketing and Management from Alvernia College. She
is active in the family business and manages the Wagner
Auction Service website. |
